emh morning hours at epcot what is open?
I have heard that the showcase doesn't open as early as the rest of the park an a normal day? but as there are a few rides there will they be open on emh morning hours or do you have to wait till it opens as usual. Also can you access the boardwalk from ecpot prior to the showcase opening? I was thinking of doing the morning hours as not alot I can see us wanting to do at ecpot then booking a breakfast adr at Trattoria al Forno

The following attractions at Epcot are open for Morning Extra Magic Hour:
Frozen Ever After » Indoor adventure boat ride Living with the Land » Indoor boat-ride adventure chronicling the past, present, and future of farming and agriculture in the United States Meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus » Meet and greet with the Frozen princesses Soarin' » Flight-simulator ride Spaceship Earth » Educational dark ride through past, present, and future Test Track » Automobile test-track simulator ride The Seas with Nemo & Friends » Ride through a tunnel in The Seas' main tank Turtle Talk with Crush » An interactive animated film |
I find morning EMH in Epcot to be a waste. There are only a few rides and then you have to wait hours for the showcase to open.
Yes you can access the international gateway to the boardwalk |
thanks that is really helpful
most of the things I would like to do are on there apart from the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros which isn't a must do I'm not really bothered about the showcase as I don't think my 6 year old will be interested and no big rides either so thought if we used the emh we could do most of the things we would be interested in then go for a late breakfast |

You can do rides like Soarin', Living with the Land, Spaceship Earth and Seas with Nemo with little to no wait and then look around the Seas pavilion at the fish without any crowds. Then head over to Test Track before the masses arrive. And after that you get some breakfast somewhere whilst the park gets busy. It's great walking around a mostly empty park for an hour or so and far more relaxing than arriving later in the morning. |
I wouldn’t write World Showcase off for your 6 year old without giving it a go. Mine are now 15 and 18 and have been visiting since they were 5 and 8. Between 5 and 9 my daughter loved making her mask in every country and enjoyed the street entertainers. DS has never had much interest apart from the food and the British Revolution. 9-13 DD lost interest and than aged 14 had learnt how to shop and taken an interest in history and geography and now she loves World Showcase again. At least take your child in Germany’s Caramel Shop. I guarantee they will love that!
