Lake Como / Milan - any tips?

Any tips?

We’ve booked to do Lake Como for a few days and thought we’d stop in Milan for a day as will be getting the train anyway!

No tips as such, but my husband often visits the area on business and enjoyed a visit to the Ferrari museum. Hope you get some other snippets of advice.

Thanks! Neither my OH or I are super interested in cars so not sure that will be up our street but will definitely look into it! :)

Definitely go to Varenna- it’s a little village on the shore of Lake Como-not a huge amount there but we had the most amazing lunch there in one of the little restaurants overlooking the lake, lots of bruschetta and Prosecco! Not pricey either :) you can get the ferry very easily from one town to another. Enjoy!

Our AirBnB is in Varenna so I’m glad to hear it’s lovely!

Following with interest as we have added 3 nights at Como onto our trip to Tuscany in August.

Aw it’s beautiful! It’s like a little fairy tale town. Such a great base too- just a ferry ride to Bellagio which is lovely too and a little bigger :)

Will definitely be taking advantage of the ferry! I’m really looking forward to it!
