Dessert Parties

Hi

Are the dessert parties worth the crazy price tag? and if so, which one would you choose?

Thank Ya :wave::wave::wave::wave:

The Star Wars one always get good reviews. We are going with that one this year. The MK one was good until they massively increased the price...now it's not great value and I wouldn't do it. I don't know anything about the Epcot one..it doesn't seem to be popular on here

We loved the Star War Dessert Party in October, the cakes with the exception of a couple were lovely and the cocktails were pretty strong.
We would do it again

It's a lot of money, is it really worth it for cakes?

Personally I would rather have a nice dinner for that price.
Having said that I would love to do the star wars one.

I agree it's expensive but I booked it mainly because DS2 is a huge Star Wars fan, you get to mingle with characters and DS and his GF joined the queue to see a character and they were pulled out and taken to the front.
We were taken by storm troopers to a roped off area to watch the fireworks given bottled water and a souvenir cup. There were loads of different cakes to choose from and 3 different cocktails which were unlimited as well as tea coffee and soft drinks
As I say we really enjoyed it and may well do it again in the future

Random question but with the Star Wars dessert parties are there options that aren't chocolate based? My daughter really doesn't like chocolate and all the photos I've see show mostly chocolate based desserts.

How do you book these? Can you do it on MDE? :)

Having done both the wishes and star wars desert party I would say it's not really worth the cost. I mean as a one off possibly but like someone else said I'd much rather have a nice meal somewhere. Star wars desert party was let down by the lack of chairs which was torture after being in the park all day but not sure if they've changed this now.

I did the star wars one last year. Wouldn't do it again to be honest, mainly as I'm not a big enough alcohol drinker to really get enough value from the unlimited drinks and don't think the rest of the desserts was really worth the price tag!

That being said, it was an enjoyable experience and nice to have a decent view without much waiting...
