In Dover tonight

Colleague just sent me this picture from Dover tonight. Disney Magic in the foreground and Disney Wonder just departing. Nearest we’ll get this year.

Such a beautiful sight! Thanks for sharing. So sad that they are not sailing the world but also nice to know they are creating beautiful photos like this even if they aren't treating their passengers to lovely holidays

My mum lives in Dover so I always go down to see these beauties, well since the last lockdown ended anyway..

Great photo. Have been looking at cruise mapper to see their location and the four Disney ships have either been in Dover or Brest.
Interesting to see that two are now at sea. Is this the start of them returning to some normality 🤔

Most cruise ships are at anchor and not actually in port as the port fees are high and it is a cost they do not need to take on.

Just to add ships have to run out to sea to run their sanitation systems properly so often will spend a few days in port a few anchored at sea etc. Its quite normal and was happening during the first lock down. I'm not sure if the move now is a sign of anything more than that.

Looks like the Wonder is going back across the Atlantic, or at least to Madeira.
