Sci-Fi diner ADR for shakes only

Hi, my ADR day is this week. We have QSDP and I'm trying not to spend much on food outside of that, but know the kids would love the theming in Sci-Fi. Will it be OK to book an ADR but only order shakes? Has anyone done this?

You can buy whatever you like in the restaurants.

This is definitely one place we want to visit it looks fantastic.

I personally wouldn't go in a restaurant and effectively only order drinks. I'm not saying you can't but personally I would feel awkward about that.

Think it should be fine. The shakes are to die for but very filling.

Don't think the server is going to be over happy about their tip on a few shakes.

You can order nice milkshakes to go from the Tune-In Lounge attached to the side of 50's Prime Time Cafe (including the Peanut butter & jelly one).

Min & Bills Dockside Diner serve milkshakes too.

However this doesn't help if you were more interested in the themeing of Sci-Fi.

Neither would I.

We always have qsdp but eat here once per trip, the burgers are lovely and make a change from the qs ones.

This is something i wondered, we have QSDP and i don't mind paying for things out of pocket if it's something i want to experience but i've read really mixed reviews on the foods, some saying it is lovely do other sayings it is awful. I really want to check out the theming etc though so we have made a reservation.

This was something we were planning on doing? We went last time and the food was pretty bad (the worst of the holiday) but the theming was fantastic if not a little chilly? But will take cardie to sort that. I thought to get around this we will probs order milkshakes and maybe 3/4 meals as there will be 7/8 of us going so should be ok as far as servers are concerned? Especially if we order a few alcoholic drinks as well?
