An afternoon at the beach ... West Wittering
 

The wind is blowing a hooley, windsurfers out, and the masks stop the blowing sand...

Lovely - it’s not stopped raining here all morning! Enjoy it while it lasts 😊

The Witterings are lovely and not too far from me. Not the best of weather today for it alas.

I've taken the dog out over the Downs twice and got pretty wet on both occasions.

He didn't seem to mind though, and that's the main thing I guess.

I still need to go for a run today, your snaps are making me think I might take in a stretch of the seafront even though BBC weather app is telling me there will be heavy rain and 45mph winds!

The windsurfers are almost supersonic ... strong winds off the channel

I didn’t make it quite to the seafront - I stuck to a shorter 6-miles today and turned back North about half a mile from the coast.

I’ll be down there tomorrow though.

I hope the wind drops for you then ... it was epic today
