theDIBB - Fulton And Kerrridges Travel Day

We started off our travel day from the premier inn at 6am. Never travelled indirect before so we got in a bit if a muddle when booking in at heathrow doing all our own labels for our cases, our friend Gary threw all his ones away to keep so we had to find them all then we didn't know which bits go where. After half an hour wasted there we finally went to put our cases on to be told when charter travel booked our reservation they had done all four of our tickets in my husbands name so they had to cancel all our baggage tickets and reissue them all and warned us we will have the same problem on return, after an hour spent here we were on our way, security was very fast and soon we were on our way. The flight was good, I have to say that the chicken polenta we had was the worse food we had ever had so we all left it, united ife was good and the staff very attentive. Landed at Newark and cases were straight on to next flight but a bit of confusion coming off when you have never done it before, our cases were gone and our friends were walking around with theirs so we had to send them through after with theirs. We then went for abite to eat and we found the staff in Newark food courts to be very rude and unhelpful. We finally boarded and one of my 14 year olds was put in a seat on her own away from us so hubby swapped seats, also on printing out our tickets it kept offering us 300dollars to change flights as it was oversubscribed but we didn't take them up on the offer. We finally made it to the villa after getting lost in the dark. We now have to email charter again as our friends were told the car insurance wasn't fully covered and they had to pay 12 dollars a day extra and we weren't told anything. The villa is lovely but not very clean so we now have to contact the management company to let them know so hopefully today will be a better day
