Everglades in August.

Just planing next years trip and we are planning to fly into Miami and then spend a day or 2 there on the way back. My husband is keen to go the Everglades and I think it would be great to see them but wondering if the weather, very hot and humid, would make it a nightmare for insects. Just wondered what others thought.

We stayed one night in Everglades city,at a place called ivy house , it’s got a pool , and city seafood is right over the road , we had gator nuggets, frogs legs and crabs claws over looking the bayou, its a bit different then anywhere we’ve ever stayed but for one night it was good
