Ford Expedition rental

Was wondering about people’s experience with this SUV. There are 6 of us, 4 adults and two kids (12 & 9). Is there much luggage space available?
Last year we got a Town and Country and to and from the airport and luggage was piled everywhere.
I think this is the largest car in the Fullsize SUV range from most rental companies. A Cadillac Escalade is bigger but the cost jumps up quite a bit.
Any suggestions?

The Ford Expedition from the full size category has less luggage space than the Dodge Grand Caravan... 20 cubic feet vs 31 cubic feet.

The Ford Expedition Max which has about 35 cubic feet is from the premium 7 seater SUV line.

Yukon XL or Expedition Max are the bigger SUV's.

If you are in 7 seat mode which you would be with 6 people, luggage space will be limited. So depends on what luggage people are taking. Holdalls rather than suitcases would be better, but you will struggle more than with caravan range.

Flip side without the luggage runs it will be a much better choice.
