Really hope to see Galaxy's Edge this trip in mid October, not sure if it will happen with the crowd levels, but fingers crossed!

Excellent. Thank you for posting.

Quite glad to see this. We are going on the 29th and I am expecting it to be busy, but if you don’t want to queue for the ride, then maybe it will be possible to get a look around as it’s only really shops and food outlets. Hopefully most people will go in, look around and come out again. Or is that wishful thinking?

We are planning to be there on the 29th too, hoping for a look around SWGE and we've got breakfast booked in HS but Im not sure we will even get through the crowds for that :erm:...fingers crossed!

I thought there were going to be 3 entrances to WDW's Galaxy's Edge? I wonder what happened to the one coming directly from Pixar Place to the north?

Also, it makes it look like there's a lot of unused space full of trees to the north of Galaxy's Edge. If this is actually the case (I suspect not), then is this room for future expansion?

The DL version has 3 entrances, the WDW version was never intended to have 3, always been 2. However there will be an additional entrance eventually from the Star Wars Hotel specifically for the guests to enter the land directly from the hotel without leaving the star wars environment

Yes as detailed here...

There are three entrances into the new land at Disneyland Park, and two at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (otherwise, the lands are nearly identical).
There is another possible entrance on Pixar Place but it isn't implemented.

Thanks. :thumbs-up

I think I'm getting the two mixed up. I thought the DL version only had two entrances whereas the HS version had three. My mistake!

I messaged Disney the other day asking if they will be doing what Disneyland did with reserving a time slot but the said no, it's basically a free for all. So expect crazy lines people. Looks likes my husband's doing this one alone as no way our 3 year olds will stand in that line for hours on end :(
