Disney passes - best time to buy?
I’m going to Disney in January - is it better to hold out and see if an offer arrives, or is the price more than likely to stay the same? I’ve just missed one where they were coming up at £770 total for my partner and I, now they’re hitting £900.

Hmm I’ve not seen Disney prices fluctuate that much before ... I know universal do offers closer to the time but never seen Disney do it- that being said I haven’t been looking until recent.
Is this for AP or just a regular tickets, it seems pricey ! |
I have never seen Disney prices fluctuate either.

They were coming up via the Disney site as £770 for 2 adults, but this ended on 29/8. Now £449 each for two weeks. I’ve never seen them fluctuate, but have seen an offer once maybe twice a year, just gauging when those times are

Disney prices do fluctuate slightly - for example, the 2019 14-day tickets recently went up in price by £10 because the "14-days for the price of 7" ended. In previous years, the price of the next year's tickets reduced by around £40 or £50 in mid-December. So, if you don't mind waiting, you could see if the same happens again this December. But that might be a little late if you're going in January and wanting to book fastpasses.
I'm not sure where you saw the 2020 14-day tickets for £385 each. That sounds more like the price for 2019 tickets not 2020 tickets. At the moment OrlandoAttractionTickets.co.uk are selling the 2020 14-day tickets for £435 each. I'm sure lyn1 will be along soon to suggest a cheaper seller. ;) |

The 2020 14-day tickets have been £449 for several months now (or £429 if bought as part of a hotel package). As you are going in January 2020 then the 2019 tickets wouldn't have been any use to you. |

At the moment the cheapest that I can see for the Adult 2020 Disney 14 Day Ultimate ticket is from themeparktickets.co.uk £429. Link below. https://www.themeparktickets.co.uk/T...ltimate-Ticket That's only £1 cheaper than orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk £430 using the code mse5, but orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk have a few more freebies so for the sake of £1 it might be better to buy from them. Link below. https://www.orlandoattractiontickets...ltimate-Ticket The cheapest that I can see for the Child 2020 Disney 14 Day Ultimate ticket is from travelrepublic.co.uk £396, although I don't know how long this price will last. There are so many different deals around lately that I might have missed something so maybe someone else can see cheaper. |
Ah you absolutely lovely lot - thank you for your replies!
It must have been the 2019 tickets - what a dope! But I will definitely wait for December for the tickets, that’s a good tip. £100 is £100 isn’t it so it’s worth having a little look! I’m not TOO worried about fast passes with it being in low season, very low season! As I have two toddlers I’m being a little more relaxed as ultimately, how the threenagers feel on the day will have to be factored in. How unpredictable are toddlers! I really do appreciate all your advice - better than any travel agent! |
Fast passes are included with all Disney tickets. You don't pay extra for them.
