Anyone any information on where to either bank fish or hire a small boat for 2. Also where can you get info on where you can fish/permits etc.
Many thanks in advance

If you visit bass pro shop at the top of I drive, I’m sure they will help with licences and they will also advise on charter boats etc

Sorry not bank fishing or hiring your own boat but DH went with this guy last year http://www.chucksguideservice.com/index.html. Picked him up from our hotel and brought him back. DH really enjoyed the day. Caught some fish (don't ask me what type though). Really nice guy.

Thanks guys. I will look into all these places. Not a lot of folks interested in fishing in Florida it seems. Its really hard to find out whats available.

Where are you staying? Lots of the villa communities have private lakes you can fish in if you are staying there.

We are staying at Venetian Bay off 192 near Shingle Creek Park. Dont know if you are allowed to fish there? .

You could try asking the owners if you booked direct.

Once you obtain a license you can fish anywhere unless it states otherwise. Make sure you carry the license along with ID
