The Crown - Series 4

Started to watch just one today and now on episode 4. It’s brilliant compulsive watching maybe more so that’s the previous 3 for me as I recall the incidences more clearly for a variety of reasons etc

Glad it has been commissioned for Series 5 and 6

I’ve only watched ep 1 so far but what great casting with Gillian Anderson.

It too a while before I got into her role as Maggie (she seemed to old and stilted at first) but now I think she is fab and the one when she is at Balmoral I actually found was wonderful

I haven‘t gone iń yet. Didn‘t realise Gillian Anderson was in it, as hadn’t seen her in the promos. Expect I will enjoy this more than any Christmas telly, but can‘t possibly wait that long.

It‘s one DH and I watch together, so will get cracking later when he‘s ready to sit down.

Very excited!

I'm on series 3 shall I jump it?

It’s Diana’s chaperone, who played the receptionist in call the midwife, that threw me with her voice - its so addictive tho

You can really - you’d not need to see the previous 3 really (although they are excellent)

I've seen 1 and 2. It looks so old fashioned but I was alive for most of them.

I liked 3 but it look a while to get used to H B-C as Margaret and Coleman as The Queen (especially as I had just seen The Favourite) but I did and it was great.

I have to say I am looking forward to Staunton in the next 2 as The Queen
