Is this fixable?
 

My eldest DD has just bought her hp laptop downstairs to show me. Was working fine after school apparently, she then returned from dance class, went to use it again & found screen like this (promises me she hasn’t dropped or stood on it which was my first thought. If I had a £1 for every time I’ve told her not to leave it on the floor, I’d be able to afford to return to Florida! 😉).
We have a computer repair shop near us, but just wanted an opinion on whether it’s fixable & what could’ve caused it? TIA

No expert, but if I was a betting man, I’d say replacement screen required?

I'm afraid it looks like its been dropped or stood on, a new screen will be required ... sorry.
