Sept/Oct flight prices

Hey lovely dibbers

How much should i be expecting to pay for flights for the end of Sept/beginning of Oct - although we can be flexible on dates.

I have found BA flights for £460 which i think is ok, and Norwegian once you add on baggage etc works out about the same.

These are for London - Fort Lauderdale, although we can fly into Mia or Mco.

Do you think I can do better?

For similar dates we've paid £1200 for 2 the last couple of years flying from Glasgow via Gatwick to both Mco and Tampa.
This is for 3 weeks flydrive and booked in the BA Christmas sale.
For us the cost works out at £400 each for flights and £400 for car hire which we think is excellent.

I paid less than £240 each flying Gla- Heath -Mia that includes a £220 discount using some of our Avios points .

Great prices.

Question is... can i hang on 3 weeks for the Xmas sale... might save me £100 But not loads in the grand scheme of things... especially as I'm impatient and a worrier!
