Complete List of Outbound Travel Requirements. VACCINE REQUIREMENT DROPPED 12/05/23

AS OF THE END OF 11/05/2023 ALL RESTRICTIONS ARE ENDING SEE HERE

Updated 14/06/22 to reflect new guidelines as of 12/06/22

Below is a list of entry requirements for travelling to the USA. Non Vaccinated adults still cannot enter the USA even with a negative test, unless they fall under one of the strict exception rules.

Fully vaccinated:
  • Proof of vaccination required (i.e. NHS Covid pass)
  • Complete attestation form prior to check in

Children 2-17 unvaccinated or 1 dose:
  • Test 3-5 days after arrival. You have to attest to doing this, but so far nobody has ever been checked. It doesn't need to be supervised. Suggest taking a cheap test from the likes of boots/B&M to test. If you recovered from a documented COVID-19 infection within the past 90 days (regardless of vaccination status), you do NOT need to get a test 3-5 days after arrival.
  • Exempt from Isolation unless post arrival test is positive
  • Complete attestation form prior to check in

Infants under 2
  • Exempt from all requirements

Attestation form is available HERE

Just an FYI that the pdf version it links you to is an old version. :)

Yes. These are only the outbound requirements.

Charlotte - May be worth making this clear in the first post.

Also have been getting a few questions in the bigger threads about double dosed children (especially over 16s) so may be worth adding a note about those. Can use same entry requirements as adults provided they have acceptable vaccination proof.

ETA: Thank you mods for making sticky :tinkani:
