A Fleeting Visit To WDW - Travel Day
 

This year we decided to make an impulse decision and head to Walt Disney World for a week to see Star Wars: Galaxy Edgy and a few of the other updates since we have been in April 2018.

So we decided to start the holiday off right by having breakfast at the Wetherspoons in the airport.









We have arrived after a smooth flight and are hopping on the Magical Express to Boardwalk! This is our first time staying at this hotel and I'm so excited to try it out. It's in our favourite location as it's a short walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.









We have arrived!












We got to our room and had a huge surprise!






I was so overwhelmed, a tear or two were shed!












We have a great view right next to the pool!



We bought some of the magic band upgrades. Dad and I got Stitch and mum got one with the castle on. We got really lucky with these as they kept going out of stock!

We got 14 day park tickets as they were the same price as 7 which means we could go into the parks this evening so we hopped across to Epcot.






First ride of the holiday is Spaceship Earth.



Then we are using a fast pass for Soarin but the wait time is only 10 minutes! Epcot seems empty this evening.



We managed to hot foot it over to Canada for illuminations.


















What a way to finish a travel day. Now time to head back to the hotel and unpack!

What do they do if you haven't got your magic bands at the airport?

The room surprise was by Disney as my dad runs the Dibb.

If you don't have magic bands at the airport they will give you a ticket to get on the magical express. Then they will give you magic bands at your hotel.

Ahh. I suspect you are Simons Daughter then. Enjoy your trip.

A great start to your holiday and what a fabulous room surprise.

I should mention, she is a good daughter too and paid for her own trip. Older daughter is currently holidaying in Japan and ensured two days at disney was firmly included in their budget and schedule. We have raised them with an expensive addiction.:grin:
