Are there plans for the big guy in red to be at DLP this year? if so where will he be and is there a fee?

as far as I'm aware, yes, Santas Grotto will be in Critters Corral, at the back of Frontierland, again this year, with Santa in attendance :).
There is no fee, but you don't get a present from Santa, he is there for photos and interaction only.

Brill thanks again Sammykitten. Time is ticking and with Halloween, fireworks, and xmas to plan for leaves little Disney planning so im trying to get it all done now :) x

we were there a couple of years ago in november and santa was where sammykitten said , the line was massive but we got to meet pluto dressed as a reindeer in the reindeer shed and they had elves walking round entertaining people ...
afterwards there was a little place where you could write a letter to santa , my little boy did but to be honest with christmas and everything just forgot about it really...then at the beginning of jan he got a reply back saying he hoped he had a good holiday and christmas and things and i thought it was just a nice touch ...so if its there its worth doing and doesn't cost anything
