universal dilemma
 

hi looking at booking tickets for august 2018≈
we will be staying onsite 30 august for 1 night to get passes for 2 days
the problem i have is which tickets to get for 3 adults
i would like to go to volcano bay but not bothered if i miss out to save some money
only looking at 3 days incase i have to go back to go on rides i may of missed
will 2 days be enough with passes and is it worth missing out on harry potter train as to get a hopper ticket its going to cost about £85 extra for 1 ride

2 park 3 day base ticket - £517
2 park 2 day base ticket - £479

or hoppers

2 park 2 day hopper - £564
2 park 3 day hopper - £600

or just get the 3 park explorer - £685

As you will only have the express passes for 2 days, I would recommend getting the 2 day ticket and 100% recommend getting the park hopper ticket. Universal and IOA are amazing! Personally I would buy the 2 park 2 day hopper (I don't think that would include Volcano bay though.)
If you did want to go to Volcano bay and get the 3 park explorer I would recommend getting a 3 park 14 day hopper. It would cost more but would mean if for whatever reason in your trip you wanted to go back its available for a longer period of time. Attraction tickets sells the 3 parks 14 day hopper for £747 for 3 adults.
