Photos at Grand Floridian if not married on property?

Hi
My DD is getting married at Paradise Cove in July, we are looking to book a restaurant for a celebration dinner at the Grand Floridian but not sure which restaurant yet, we then have 3 pontoon boats booked for fireworks cruise (26 guests). My question is can my DD wear her wedding dress in the Grand Floridian and have some photos taken in the resort and hotel prior to the wedding dinner and in the restaurant even though she is not getting married on property?:confused2

Hi, myself and my wife got married in Orlando (Cypress Grove) in March last year. We booked the Grand Floridian Cafe for our wedding meal and we had photos taken inside and around the hotel, no problem at all. Our guests just sat in the bar up the stairs and had drinks whilst we got all our photos. Beautiful hotel to get photos in, hope you have a great time.

We also booked pontoon boats for the fireworks at night, would defo recommend. Great way to finish off the evening

Can't see why not. She can't wear her dress in the parks but don't think there's anything to stop her in the hotels.

My best friends got married at the Poly in July last year then we all walked to GF taking photos along the way and in the hotel. No one bothered us at all.

I think there are fancier restaurants at the GF but the GFC for us had a better all round menu, the New York strip steak was a popular choice for our wedding and went down a treat

Hi
That’s the main reason we chose this restaurant, do you mind if I ask how many were in your wedding party, I’m worried they won’t sit us all together, the lady on phone said they will try and I’m going to pop in a few days before the wedding just to clarify this.

Yes you can. Me and hubby had a photoshoot with Randy Chapman at the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian and I was in my wedding dress. No wedding on property... or even in the States! 😊

My son and his GF got married in a hot air balloon in Dec and met us at the Poly, we then took photos around the hotel and grounds. Some staff even took some family shots for us. Everyone made a big fuss of them, it was wonderful.
