theDIBB - Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! AKL & HRH June 2019

Hey everyone,

Have been away from the wonderful WDW for far too long! The last visit was back in 2011 with the ‘rents (katebush95 on the Dibb) after finishing my GCSE’s! I’ve now completed 5 years at uni and am fully immersed in working life, so what else would I want to spend my wages on?

Anyhow this trip idea began a year or so while visiting my boyfriends parents down in London, they similarly hadn’t been since 2012 so we knew a trip was needed! Me and Chris live in Leeds and with his parents being in London we don’t get to see them as often as we’d like, so are really looking forward to getting to spend a couple of weeks together in the most magical place on earth!

The cast

Me (Katie)- A lover of roller coasters, coffee, Taylor swift and the lion king. Cannot wait to stay in AKL and see all the animals. Looking forward to pandora’s FOP and the hogwarts express as only Hogsmead was open the last time we went

Boyfriend (Chris)- Harry Potter and Simpson’s fan! Cannot wait for moe’s tavern and ripsaw falls. Also a roller coaster fan and loves the HRH Hotel pool as he’s a keen swimmer.

We’re also joined by Chris’ dad (Rob), his mum (Jane) and his brother (Jamie).

Me and Chris fly from Manchester and the others fly from Gatwick on the 1st June.

We’re staying at the AKL for 9 nights and then have 5 nights at the HRH!
