Not a daft question. When you walk around the flower festival you see diffrent displays there all so a butterfly 🦋 walkthrough or there was a few years back you also see torpary from diffrent flims loads of diffrent flowers ect we loved it when we where there a good few years back .

Yes, there are different food and drink booths like they have at the food and wine festival, but with flowers, gardens and character topiaries too :)

It is really nice walking around the displays and there are booths with food and drinks from different counties can get busy at weekends.

looking at a Friday
dont know if i should take the car and just try the food or bus/taxi it and enjoy it all

thanks for the info

if i was going to use a taxi uber i would think what would the cost be from the rosen inn @ pointe to epcot

also would they drop you off at the epcot entrance or would it be the TTC

loldis 3 Dec 17 04:53 PM

Uber can drop off at Epcot, it's only MK that is restricted to TTC. The dropoff/pickup point is in the parking lot. Estimated fare on https://www.uber.com/en-GB/fare-estimate/ is $11-15 each way.

I would say that F&G is a smaller version of F&W in the food/drink department. Still plenty to choose from, but not the star of the show like F&W if that makes sense. But it's the 25th anniversary next year so may be bigger than usual.

Disney Food Blog reviews every stall if you want to look at this year's for guidance - a lot of the stalls do tend to repeat each year. I'm going next year as well, can't wait - although I'm more interested in the flowers than the food. :d:

i didnt know it was the 25th flower festival next year :)
i think its leave the car at the hotel day

more daft questions
is there wifi near the car park for the uber ?
at the moment the phone i will be using in the parks will only have wifi

its a tracfone from 2016 would i still be able to get a sim for it with calls and data ?

where would be the best place to get the sim from ?

does uber phone/text or use the app when there here to pick you up
how do you tip ?

loldis 3 Dec 17 10:49 PM

Can't answer specifically on the phone/wifi, I use 3 which has included data roaming in the US so just leave my roaming on. If you have an unlocked UK phone, you can use their PAYG service to access the same roaming plan rather than trying to use the (I'm presuming) US phone.

But as for Uber, the app alerts you when the driver is there. The driver may also phone/text if they're having trouble locating you though. This happened to me a couple of times on my last (non-Disney) trip when they've gone to the wrong pickup point - this was more a problem of the hotel I was staying at though, it had two entrances and they went to the other. Tipping is built into the app now, you add it when you review the ride if you want to.

looks like i need to get an unlocked phone and get the three thing for it :)

there no easy way of unlocking the tracfone phone

and i think its uber on the Friday for epcot i can have a nice day chilling and food and drink sampling
