I just heard this on the radio and it actually left me staring into space considering it for a minute..."there are 17 million flies for every one human on the planet"

ARGH what!

Anybody got any other amazing facts that left them reeling? :grin:

Last summer I had all 17 million in my kitchen at times. 👺

That is one of my favourite facts too.

Othe space fact i love is that 90% of the human body is an element other than hydrogen. Only place in the universe elements heavier than hydrogen and helium are formed is in the core of a star. And that star must explode to distribute those elements.

So at least 90% of your body has been through an exploding star at some point in the past.

The smell of fresh cut grass is a sign of distress. We'll that's my excuse for not cutting the lawn at the weekend😉.
