August 7 days in New York- The 3 of us Day 4
 

Woke up to a rainy day so decided to make this Jersey Gardens day and let the teens go on their spending spree.

Had breakfast at New York luncheonett which was next door to the hotel. Had scrambled eggs and bacon with coffee. Not got the price written down anywhere but we enjoyed it.
Walked down to the port authority bus station and purchased the bus tickets $14 dollars return.
Think it was around an hour to get there. Lunch Dunkin donut, coffee and donut and stone cold creamery ice cream later on.
Shopping done we headed back, got a cab from port authority bus station back to hotel as we had a few bags


Went off to Panda express for food, again absolutely loved it. Had to call at Duane reade for water and painkillers as all the walking was playing avhoc with my arthritic knees.

Back at the hotel for 10 again 😴😴

Teens did very well, just 2 of those bags where mine !

No wonder you were aching after all that shopping! I hope the teens took their own spending money 😂

My kids always seem to come back with the same amount they took, don't know how that happens 🤔😉

Haha, I have the same with Georgia. We are going to Croatia soon and she has changed £30 into Kuna as she doesn’t think she needs any more than that 😂 The thing is she probably won’t spend it all either 😀
