Seascreamer question

Hoping to book the seascreamer but a quick look on tripadvisor and a few mention ‘blaring tunes’ throughout... is this a thing with this boat trip? 9yo is autistic so need an idea about what kind of volume they mean? He’s fine with the sound of a boat going fast but club tunes on top might be a bit much!

Also - which time is likely to be slightly quieter?

From what I can remember they only play the Van Halen song Jump at the end when the boat speeds up and the dolphins jump in the waves. Definitely don’t remember blaring music on the whole trip.

There is another dolphin boat trip called Little Toot.

We have been to Clearwater twice now and for a more personal and quieter trip i would suggest little Toot. You would get it on the same jetty as Seascreamer and its a tug so remarkably smaller... but, the wake it produces means you will see such a lot of dolphins usually. We have watched Seascreamer come to a stop to watch Little Toot speeding through the water with the dolphins playing alongside. The first time we did this trip, we had a family of dolphins with their baby jumping in the wake... the baby was a little off keel with his landings but it was amazing to watch. No music or loud noises on this boat, just the engine noises and the odd commentary from the captain and his crew outlining different interesting points.

Personally I prefer little toot. Sit at back of boat and you are so low and close to dolphins you can almost touch them. Closest encounter you will get to dolphins without being in water

As previous poster mentioned little toot produces amazing bow waves which dolphins love

Also no music 😉

Thanks all - little toot it is! My son got fixated on the big sea-screamer and that it looks like it goes faster (adrenaline junkie!) but I think little toot will be much better for him.
