Santa’s coming!
 

Our local Round Table do a “santa route” every year. Over a period of 2 weeks they cover so many local roads and drove by with Santa in his “sleigh”, equipped with a megaphone to wish Merry Christmas to everyone.

Our road is on the Christmas Eve schedule and his drive-by always marks the start of Christmas to me and I was quite sad at the thought of it not happening this year.

The great news is that they’ve just posted on FB to say they’re still able to do it, with a few changes. So, while it won’t be the Christmas I’m used to, at least elements of normality should appear, and my kids will be so pleased!

Our local Rotary are hoping to be able to do their round as well

Ahh lucky you! Ours has been cancelled:cry:We normally see Santa come round at the beginning of December, often on my youngest sons bday, so I will be sad this year not to see him.

Our has been cancelled. Can't keep people socially distanced- i personally think you can as they are long roads they travel on in our town, i think they just shouldn't stop along the way like they usually do. Maybe next year though.

Ours is still doing their rounds. The wagon is so colourful and it makes everything seem so festive. A lovely sight to see. 🎅🏼
