Getting to Animal Kingdom for 7am EMH
 

Hi,

We have missed out on getting fast passes for FOP or Navi, but luckily we are staying on site and the day we plan to go to Animal Kingdom is one with a 7am EMH, so we think we have a decent chance if we arrive at 7am and RUN!

We could get the resort transportation but are thinking this may be competitive and not work well, so we were also thinking about Uber.

I don't think that we have done EMH on any previous visit so we don't know how Disney ensure only those entitled get in. Does anyone know if you go to Animal Kingdom by Uber, can you get to the right place and get in... or would the Uber have to drop you off somewhere further away and then you would be held back as too early. In other words, do you have to arrive on a Disney bus to be accepted as entitled to EMH?

No you don't have to arrive on a Disney bus, I have arrived by my car or by Uber/Lyft.

Definitely recommend Lyft to make sure you get there in good time rather than rely on Disney transport too.

For those entitled to get in, they scan your band once you’ve already cleared the main entrance and those allowed then pass up to the left side, those not allowed are held to the right side (the bit that leads up to the bridge in front of the tree of life).
