Non-park things to do
 

Hi, on previous trips to Orlando we have gone kyaking on the crystal river, visited 'Inverness' Florida our citys namesake and visited the everglades.

We hope to make it to Orlando next October and are looking for ideas on a day trip or two outwith the parks? Ill have my 21 yr old Daughter and sons 16 and 17 with me and we will be hiring a car so i dont mind a wee drive. Can you recommend places to visit please?

Visiting big cat rescue, a great charity who do wonderful work, and you get to see some amazing animals that people have had as pets

Suhls Rodeo, or just wander around the Kissimmee Lake Front Park and Broadway area (We love Big John's Rocking BBQ) - All a short distance from the 192. The Kissimmee Chamber of Commerce often out on free outdoor screenings in the lake front area.
