Malta and Gozo
 

Just some pics from my recent trip to Malta. We've visited a few times and don't stay in a tourist area (though we visit lots of places). We always get a weekly bus pass (this year €6.50) and travel all over the island with it. Hope you enjoy looking at the photos. :-)

We had our honeymoon in Malta, stayed at a apartment in St. Paul's Bay.

We always remember the big church on Gozo, Mdina market, The church at Mosta and friendly Maltese people.

We went to a festival at Floriana near Valletta, girls throwing garlands down from balconies, nugget stalls. :smile:

It was the national Malta Karnival, it's on for 4 days every Feb and there are dancers etc all over but most of its in Valletta. My parents have been going for 8 weeks every year since they retired (80 now!) and we go out for a week to stay with them. I have tons of photos from other years :d:

Looks lovely, we went out in 82, 17th April for 3 weeks. Sounds like to you and your parents have a brilliant time, would love to go back, but at the moment all our holidays are spent at the villa. :smile:

Maybe when we retire. :smile:

Lovely photos...we spent our 21st Wedding anniversary in Malta... now coming up to our 40th...so thats how long ago it is since we went...people say you either love the place or hate it...we loved it!
