Child or adult on DDP?

Looking on MDE it appears my dd is a 'child' where free DDP is concerned.
She will be 9 when we arrive, but 10 halfway through the holiday. Her park ticket is adult, and I was expecting her food to be adult too.
Am I mistaken or do I need to ring?

If you have a package with hotel then under 16's are usually listed as children even if they are disney adults- over 10. If you've paid for an adult tix then she should get adult ddp credits but it wouldn't hurt to call and get it confirmed.
I know when we went both my older kids were listed on mde as kids despite the fact they were disney adults and had adult tickets & ddp.

As above! I was really worried about this last year so I called them and it was fine.
As long as they have an adult ticket they will have adult credits.

I'm traveling with my mum in April and on our booking our dining plan entitlements list 1 adult and 1 child, yes I am my mums child but I am 37! :d: This happened last time we traveled too with my DS who is 18.

I phoned Disney and they said it's just the way their system shows it (random though) and as long as I have an adult park ticket my dining entitlements will be adult ones too!

Thanks. My daughter who is 8 has an adult ticket but MDE has a child listed for dining, although email confirmation shows 3 regular dining plans.

Was wondering this myself do thanks to OP for raising it.
