The we got Engaged trip! 14 nights offsite / Updated with Ford Garage

Hello and welcome to my second food report!

I was planning on doing a full trip report, butttt I got a bit carried away. We got ENGAGED :D my amazing fiancé proposed in front of the castle on our first day, so the first few days of the holiday were a bit of a whirlwind of celebrations and being on cloud nine lol…
Not food related, but I have included a couple of the photos below .

Anywayyy, we returned from Florida just over a week ago and I have plenty of food and drink pictures from our trip, so instead of a trip report I thought I would do a food report.

We stayed off site at the Floridays Resort, we normally stay in a villa but as there were only 4 of us we didn’t need a big villa. We did eat mostly off site, we tried quite a few new places and also ate at Disney Springs a couple of times.

I follow Slimming World at home, so due to the massive American portion sizes me and Daniel (my fiancé) shared most of our meals and found this suited us as there was less waste.
Below is a list of all the places we ate, and I will add each day at a time :)

Wondertree Gatwick

We stayed at The Premier Inn Crawley the night before, our flight wasn’t until 11:15am but we the hotel at around 7:30am, we were doing a meet and greet/ valet service for our car, so we wanted to get this sorted and leave ourselves time to get some breakfast and stuff first.

We headed to Wondertree for some breakfast, it was quite busy but we were still seated straight away.

We ordered some drinks

Mocha & Buckz Fizz

Daniel & I both got the same for food,

Scrambled Eggs on toast with added Sausage

Mum and Dad had the full English.

The total bill for all for us was around £60.00

BA flight

Our flight ended up being delayed, we took off around 12:30. I didn't take a picture of our meal, as well it was plane food. I really wasn't very keen either as I was still full from breakfast.

I used to work for BA, and the crew brought us some champagne down to say hello:

Flight was smooth and I managed to watch a couple of films and have a sleep.

Blaze Pizza

After we landed we dropped off our bags and headed straight for Disney Springs, as wanted to get some Disney in straight away.

After a little wonder around we got some food in Blaze Pizza.

I had the Build your own pizza - $8.45
Garlic Pesto Sauce, Gorgonzola Cheese, Red Onion, Pepperoni and Italian Sausage, I added some ranch dressing to this.

Daniel had the Meat Eater Pizza ( I think), I was getting tired by this point.

Meat Eater

We paid $25 for our pizza and a drink.

Mum had the bbq chicken pizza & dad had the same as Daniel.

I LOVED my pizza here, it was so tasty and perfect for a quick meal after a long day.

Magic Kingdom

Today was an early start, we woke up at 4am lol..

Daniel & I went for an early morning drive, we needed water, milk ect for the room so just went to a 7/11 – little did I know he was planning to propose later on today.

After we potted about we all made our way to MK, we had a reservation at Crystal Palace for 7:30.

Look at his scared face, me clueless in the back lol

When we arrived at the park entrance we had a problem with our tickets which held us up for about 5 minutes, the cast member got it sorted and we were on our way.

This was right after the big event, I was in such a little bubble I didn’t take any food pics. I don’t even remember eating much, I had family members and friends calling me as my parents did a Facebook live video so that Daniel's family could watch back home.

Free cupcake from the staff at Crystal Palace to congratulate us.

After we had finished breakfast, we went for the rides and strolled round the park we decided we wanted to go for an afternoon swim at the hotel.

We did also stop in Columbia Harbour House for lunch, but by this point my phone was flat.

We had a clam chowder soup and two tuna sandwiches to share between the 4 of us.

Longhorn

After spending the afternoon at the pool we headed to Longhorn for dinner.

Quick photo with now fiancé

We got seated straight away and ordered some appetisers.

Wild West Shrimp $10.99 & Texas Tonion $8.79

These were great as usual, we shared between all of us.

NY Steak & Baked Potatoes $21.99

This was mine, and it was so good. But I couldn’t manager it all, it was so filling.

Baby Rack Ribs & Mac and cheese - $17.29

Daniel chose this for his he also had a side of corn on the cob, it was amazing food but again he couldn’t finish his. It was at the point we decided we would share meals, as we both left over half of our meal.

No room for pudding, so back to the room for us we were all quite tired from being up so early.
