"Magic"al Norway and Iceland Disney Cruise - Copenhagen - Canal Trip - 15th August 2018
After another lovely breakfast at the hotel, we took a canal cruise at about 10am which lasted an hour.
It was really reasonable (£20 for 4 of us - 3 adults and 1 under 15). It was perfect weather for it and we saw lots of the city that we had walked abound the day before. It was nice to see it from another angle. We saw some unusual buildings. This one had dragon heads on it. The Copenhagen Opera House is not as impressive as Sydney! This building is a power plant In the winter it becomes the world's longest artificial ski slope! After taking some photos yesterday of the Little Mermaid, it looked like we were the only ones there. The view from our boat trip showed what it was like in reality! We went past the Denmark Royal Family's boat and the Royal dock where they board it. We had a good view of the Royal palace Soon it was the end of the trip and we arrived back in Nyhavn and past our hotel - it was such a lovely location to stay. [APP] We all really enjoyed the trip and it was a lovely start to our last day in Copenhagen before going to Tivoli Gardens. Steps Walked Today: 24,253 |
