Going to a concert tonight...
 

So, I’m taking my girls (and this time their friends) to see Ariana Grande again tonight.

Some of you may remember that the last time I made a similar post, it was my girls first concert, and unfortunately we all know how the night ended.

This is the first time I’ve been to a concert since (my girls went to one love Manchester).

The girls are excited, which is good. I’ve got to confess I’m a bit anxious.

Not sure of the point of this post really, but if anyone else is going tonight, I hope you have a great time.

My daughter is going to this tonight.

Security at the Glasgow event on Tues was very tight. Sniffer dogs/police/transport police only clear bags allowed in etc. Much tighter than the usual for a concert in Glasgow.

Totally understandable though security is very tight and rightly so. I took my girls to Paris the other week there for the concert at the Accor Arena and many many people were refused entry due to not following the security instructions. Enjoy the show!

We used to go to MEN Arena several times a year.
Haven't been since the attack.
We go to Birmingham now instead.
When Manchester has a new arena we will go there but not MEN.
Think we are being ridiculous tbh. Have a great time. :)

I don't particularly like the Manchester arena but we were discussing which venues we'd go to on a soon to be announced tour and we all said we'd do MEN on principle to show we wouldn't allow terrorists to dictate what we did ... although to be fair most of us are old enough to have been working in London when the IRA were bombing the mainland .

Im going tonight with my girls. Been to Manchester Arena since the bombing, aswell as Sheffield arena & had various levels of security from hardly any to lots. I welcome with how tight security is tonight, its completely understandable, I just wish there was some consistency across the arena's & artists with security.
