Blizzard Beach Refurbishment Extended!

Disney have changed the reopening date of Blizzard Beach after it's Winter refurbishment. It was originally due to reopen on the 13th January but now will remain closed until Saturday 18th January. Reopening on Sunday the 19th.

This also affects Typhoon Lagoon which was due to close for refurbishment on the 13th January but will now remain open until Sunday the 19th.

If I recall correctly this is the 2nd extension to this refurbishment.

I wonder what has caused them to push it back?
