Wet room/walk in shower

We have a fairly decent sized downstairs loo no ensuite. We put in a shower cubicle a few years back that's now leaking and out of use. Does anyone have a wet room type shower or walk in one? At the moment the shower is in one corner with a tray lifted up for the drainage pipes. It was a bit of a let's just bung it in job. The tiles are not sound and it leaks along the wall. I'd like a simple single glass screen and wet wall sheets. Any suggestions photos ideas please.

On a smaller scale I fancy something like this👍

we had a wet room installed in 2014.
It is excellent
We both have mobility issues so we have a moveable chair so that we can sit down if required

Can I be really cheeky and ask was it really expensive? I understand there's a deck or membrane to go down. I know little about them just I would like to do away with the cubicle which has had door runners break and lots of bits go mouldy and rusty.

We stripped out all fixtures
New toilet, sink, shower screen and taps etc
It took about 5 days plus the tiling.
We supplied the tiles and the taps.
Excluding the cost of the tiler, I have £ 2500.00 in my mind

Eric’smum, my sister, is having hers done now, it cost a lot more than the above price. Perhaps she will be along soon to add some information for you. We are in Essex and prices might be less where you live (or more)!

We supplied most of the materials
We paid one installer occasionally a second installer around £ 2500.00 for 5 days. I would not consider around a day £ 500.00 cheap

This is our walk in shower in our main bathroom. It looks great as it’s a big room with a roll top bath etc but not practical to use, my kids end up splashing water everywhere lol so when they want a shower they go in our en suite which has a standard enclosed shower.

I did wonder about where the water would end up Floridatilly. It would mainly be my nearly 16 year old in there. He's in the shower ages 😬
