Linking tickets to MDE and Magic Bands

Good afternoon

I have received our Disney Tickets and have bought some Magic Bands. How do I link the ticket to the Magic Band?

Do I link the tickets to the members of my party on MDE first or do I link the magic band first?

Link each ticket to the correct person in MDE, then link a band to everyone in turn.
