Upper Deck Lounge - Glasgow Airport

Anyone used this lounge, it has been recommended by a family member however I much prefer Dibbers point of view? :d:

Apparently it has a play area for the kids but I wondered what the choice of breakfast food would be like too?

We used this last May (got free through Holiday Extras price beating offer) and the kids has had a ball in the mini soft play area (2 and 4 at the time). We had a couple of drinks and relaxed before heading to the gate. The food wasnt that great. Some pastries etc and soup came out as we were leaving for the 12.10 virgin flight. Only real value of you get a deal on it, or if you want to avoid the crowds.

Thanks for the reply, its coming in at £76 so I don't really think it would be worth it then?

Hi,

It's expensive enough for what a few stale pastries, own brand beer and soft play. I'd say that £76 would be better spent elsewhere (nice meal when you get out there) or a show (Cirque Du Soleil tickets are £23 odd at Thomsons - see the live thread for details).

We went because it was essentially free. I don't think I'd pay again. There was a group of men on a stag / golfing trip on the lash and although they were quiet, they were sinking the pints rapidly (called getting their monies worth), that didn't mix with my two running about...

I'd not bother TBH.:wavey:

Since they did up the lounge it really isn't worth it any longer. The food on offer isn't the best and you are now limited to 3 alcoholic drinks per person.

You are better off going to Frankie and Benny's.
