inline imageAs low temperatures are forecast for the 15th and 16th March Disney have closed Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.

SeaWorld have closed Aquatica and Legoland has closed its water park too.

Normal operations continue on the 17th as long as the weather improves.

OMG, that is pathetic!, we are used to this in the UK. I usually take my kids on UK holidays and we have no choice, but go to the beach, often on days that are colder than this and not even sunny like Orlando has predicted today and tomorrow!

But less than 2% of the visitors are from the UK. Not economically feasible to keep it open for a minuscule number of potential guests.

Yes it is much warmer in the UK today that it will be in Orlando. It is currently 16C here and it will only get to 13C in Orlando today.

Something to consider when booking future holidays.

Nov-March can be very cool in Orlando!

We went to TL yesterday and although it was slightly overcast and slightly windy it was lovely and warm and the pools were beautiful. We even went on the new attraction Miss Adventure Falls 7 times because there was no queue.

I believe it's pretty unusual for it to be this cool in March. There can be freak weather any time of the year tbf.

In my experience it all depends on what's happening weather wise to the north of Orlando and which way the wind is blowing. The snow storms around New York and Boston will be causing this. We had the same with January and February trips when there was bad snow to the north again.
