The weather in August is hot :) it does rain, in fact it's usually very heavy rain and thunderstorms but it's basically a case of the heavens open ... It pours down... Then it's glorious. Weird ! The rain usually comes on in the afternoon.

We got married in August last year. We were married in a hot air balloon at sunrise. The weather was perfect, warm, sunny and bright.

We had a fabulous wedding. Wouldn't have changed anything for a minute. Congratulations on your engagement. Happy planning and shout up if you have any more questions.

I'm sure others will come along soon who can give you a better explanation of the weather ;)

Just thought. We did a wishes cruise in the evening of the wedding. Hired a private pontoon from the grand floridian and had about an hour on the lakes in the middle of the Disney hotels before watching the fireworks over cinderellas castle from the lake. The music is piped into the boat and you feel like the fireworks are just for you :)

You can have the boat trimmed up and add things like champagne etc.

Just an idea. It was the four of us and I wanted the day to finish on a high.

Hi there and congratulations :)

We got married in August last year, we had an amazing day. The weather in August is very hot and humid and it will rain most days. The rain usually comes den in the afternoon so we planned our wedding in the morning to avoid the rain. Unfortunately for us there was a storm on the morning of our wedding but thankfully it had past over by the time we left for the service (we got married on the beach at the Polynesian Resort). We were lucky not to have any further rain that day but it is so hard to predict.

We did the same as Jo and went on a Wishes cruise later that night, it was the perfect end to an absolutely fantastic day :)
