I have just read that housekeepers at a hotel chain in Anaheim have agreed a pay rise from $16.82 an hour to $21.81. Based on 1.3 thats going from £13 to £16.78. I can now see why costs of US holidays are going up and it also shows how poor our minimum wage is.

USA minimum wage is only $7.25 It’s higher in some states but nothing like $16.
