Silver Spur Rodeo

I have seen that this rodeo is on while we are in Orlando next month. Has anybody been recently and can tell me if it’s a good night out please?

We’ve been a few times and loved it
A great time and really good value for money.

You will probably think this is a silly question, but is it in a safe area? I get very anxious in places I am not familiar with.

We felt very safe, lots of people around
Lots of locals compared to us tourists, but very friendly people in fact we were given someone’s spare tickets when we were in line waiting to buy

not been for a couple of years, but *really* enjoyed it the 2 times we've been.

cost around $20pp to get in, free parking, and cheap beer/snacks. totally safe area in kissimmee in a nice big indoor arena.

We went a few years ago, we really enjoyed it.
You'll stick out as tourists if you don't turn up in jeans and a checked shirt though :) 95% of people were dressed like this.
Also, they have A/C on in the arena and I, in my t-shirt and shorts, was freezing all night

We are thinking of trying this on our trip in May. Do you book in advance or can you buy tickets on the night? I'm hoping that there will be one on during our two weeks.

Good tip about wearing jeans and a shirt, I would have turned up in my shorts and flip flops  I will remember to take a cardigan or fleece as well

you should be fine buying on the night... unless its like the big finale or something, but even then i'd imagine you'll be ok, the arena is *massive*

Hope this helps but at groupon orlando its only $12 we used this last year & it was easy to use when we got there.
