theDIBB - First ‘cruise’ booked

So, I am 50 next year and I wanted to do something special. I had toyed with Route 66, Canada, Hawaii but we have finally booked the QM2 to New York.
I know it’s not a traditional cruise but that was one of the reasons we booked it. When I was younger I always wanted to QE2 there and concord back so this is the nearest we can get now.
My husband is so averse to traditional cruises this is the only thing he would consider but we are both really looking forward to the voyage. Even the thought of nearly no internet is really appealing.
We are having 10 nights there before we fly back, just to finalise that a bit closer to the time but we have a few ideas with a definate few nights in Long Island for my husband to play Bethpage Black.
I will no doubt be looking for hints and tips closer to the time but for now I’m just very excited to be able to post something in this part of the Dibb :grin:
