Would there be a problem if I book an extra night but don’t stay?
 

Hi,

I was wondering if I added an extra night to my stay at Kidani but didn’t actually stay the night would it matter?

I’m thinking I’d like to keep the room on the last day right up to when we get DME but then we’d obviously not stay the extra night. For various reasons this would be a huge help for my family.

No problem at all, I’ve done the same thing on previous trips when staying in studios.

Can you not just ask for a late checkout

we have done this couple of times, Caron gave us the tip as we were struggling to get out for 11.

You can ask for a late check out and if there are rooms available they will let you but if the resort is full for obvious reasons they can't so if you need to guarantee a room your best option would be to book an extra night then there is no worry.

Great, thanks all! We always ask for a late check out and it’s 50/50 if we get it which is fair enough so I’d really like the peace of mind not to have to be out of the room early. The last couple of trips we’ve found difficult hanging round with young kids all day so I’d love to be able to feed them in the room and pack slowly.

we always do this, means we can get up hit MK for a few hours, go back to hotel and jump in the car and go ( means we do not leave our suitcases in the car / bell services and we can freshen up before we leave )
