Rights regarding refunds Easyjet

Easyjet cancelled my flights which I knew they would.

The website only offers a change of flight which I do not want. No contact details etc re cancelling

Should I just leave it and chase later as I appreciate they're busy... will that affect my rights

Go direct to credit card company?

It’s for £108. So not a huge amount but will cover any return flights post pandemic

Following with interest. We also have had flights cancelled and I am not seeing any option for a refund.

Me too.

This says you should get a refund. Not quite sure to to achieve that though !

I saw that Martin Lewis was saying everyone should get a refund, not an e-ticket. But you try telling that to Eurostar, who are completely ignoring every attempt at contacting them at the moment! Maybe there is no-one left in their customer service offices …….

I guess we all have to wait until all this is over.

Sounds like my current dealings with Easyjet. I appreciate they are ridiculously busy dealing with this at the moment so just waiting it out and hoping in time it will get sorted (that said, I can't see why they can't just reinstate their online option to request a refund... it would save a lot of angry customers pestering them!)

I'll also be requesting a refund from them if and when my flights to Amsterdam in May and Fuerteventura in June are cancelled.

I suspect they don’t to want to issue refunds.

I fear they’ll go under as will ryan air... I may end up getting a boat back to Spain :(

This is an interesting article. Primarily about potential virgin atlantic request for bailout, but
Interesting refs about easyJet too.

Exactly this, I am sure they are trying to avoid refunds as much as possible. Whilst I hate to add to the problem it's just impossible to reschedule at the moment with no idea what the future holds... :(
