dual handset, call blocking phones
 

Can anyone recommend a call blocking landline phone? There are so many to choose from and I want one that is easy to set up and blocks nuisance calls as I get loads every day! Prefer 2 handsets as well. Thank you

We have call guardian BTphones... never had an issue with unwanted calls since. :)

I did have the BT call guardian phones as well and it stopped the calls dead. I had to get rid of them two months ago as we have moved to having the phones directly via the BT hub.

Odd thing is that after a couple of days of a few spam calls they have also stopped dead with the call guardian phones. The internal BT call guardian thing does seem to work for us.

Another vote here for the BT call guardian phone.

Yes we also have this and it's great. You really need one with a huge number of 'spaces' for blocked numbers. We used to have one with only 50 spaces and it wasn't nearly enough as the scammers use lots of different numbers.

Another one for bt call guardian phones. I have 3, 1 downstairs and 2 for bedrooms. Very easy to set up, if I can do it with ease I can assure you anyone can!

we have the Panasonic dual phone blockers. Best thing we ever brought. we took some time to add in all contacts, including Doctors etc then set it to block all 0800 numbers and other callers have to announce them selves . Then we chose who we answer. we also divert unknown callers to the built in answer phone.
You need to have caller ID in your phone package for it to be effective. we never get scam/cold calls now, so when the phone rings we know its friends or family
