Yep ok

I used

Free from self raising flour

Canderal

Butter

Coca powder by Sainsbury’s

Mixed fruit

Eggs

Sorry as to amoughts I just do it off by heart as I been doing it for many years

How many eggs do you use and do you have a rough ratio guide to the rest of the ingredients. Looks good.

We always use "a weight of an egg in flour, butter and sugar" as a measurement.

Greekgranny guess you use the WI war time Victoria sponge
As I do but I also have a war sponge that's so quick and only uses an ounce of butter light as a feather and never fails
I'm also it looks right feels right when I manually stir it taste it baker
Just added more brandy to the boozy mincemeat thats been brewing for days and couintreau to one jar for me as it wasn't just right

4 large eggs about 8 oz of four 4 oz of butter 1 to 2 table spoons of sweeter large table spoon of coco power as a rough guss :)
