Just been looking at the Galaxy's Edge videos - is that the 'real' Millennium Falcon does anybody know? As in, the actual one in the films?
I'm stupidly excited if it is. It will be like my first sight of the Saturn V :D

No, it's a full scale replica that's been built for DL, and another one is being built at WDW. It's meant to be exactly the same as the original MF though.

The original Falcon was built in W. Wales I believe.

Its located near a golf course in Surrey and is surrounded by shipping containers to hide it.

Previews starting to come out now re the ride itself. Early reports suggest it may become a bunfight to get the pilot seat. But overall, the stuff I’m reading is very positive about this ride and the land theming (referring to DL but WDW will be a facsimile)

the Falcon was built in the old sunderland flying boat hangar in Pembroke Dock dockyard. my uncle, a friends father and an ex work colleague were part of the team that built it.
this is a film made by a local band. i'm one of the security guards and my son is the tallest of the kids
