Removing mould from black fabric-covered car seat

The back seat (the piece where passengers sit) is rather badly covered in mould. Any suggestions how to remove it please?

Try white vinegar on a cloth then when it’s dried carpet shampoo it may take a few goes though

I use HG mould remover, got it from amazon, I use it on the shower every other week to keep on top of it, but I also used it on the freezer that is in the shed, and it worked perfectly. Not sure if that would work?

Thanks for the suggestions. The seat was dried out by leaning it next to a radiator. DH then brushed it with a toothbrush and brushed some white vinegar on it. Looks OK now but I will have to keep my eye on it.

I think this morning I discovered the reason for it happening. I park the car in our driveway. The driveway of the house next door is immediately next to ours. There is a whopping caravan parked in their path really close to their house and it blocks any sunlight and warmth from reaching my car. This morning my rear windscreen was thick with condensation after using it yesterday. So I assume that the rest of the inside of the car is damp too. Fortunately, I can park my car down the drive so that it gets some sun on it. But a bit of a pain having to move it when DH wants to go out in his car. ☹️

HG Mould Remover contains sodium hypochlorite or Bleach so would not be good to use on a black fabric car seat. it is good to use on hard surfaces but not on coloured fabrics
