St Augustine old jail, oldest store tour reviews
Hi
We know we def want to do the old jail but what about the oldest store any opinions? We will have 2 children 13 and 6 would they enjoy it? :) |
I think so, the store was really interesting and I recall DS being fascinated by some of the stories!

If your children like to hear genuine period stories and enjoy that sense of yesteryear, they will absolutely love it. The jail is brilliant and the store is also good fun (and not a long visit anyway).
We also have a video about it from earlier this year: https://youtu.be/5kcdXZC8LrA |

Any other must sees whilst there? We will have 2.5 days(3 nights) and need to fit in shark teeth hunting as we missed it last year where near Venice and DH has not stopped moaning that he didnt do it :erm: |

My daughter went for the day a fortnight ago, she did the hop on hop off bus tour, she said it was good.

We went to both the old jail and the grocery store in St Augustine a couple of years ago and loved both of them.
Although we didn’t have children with us, there were children in the groups and the actors/tour guides made it so interesting with their stories. We would highly recommend both with or without kids for a look into the past of the ‘real’ USA Debra |
