I love the great British bake off so I can’t wait either 🥳

Just realised it starts on my birthday 🤩

Used to love it, but not watched since it was sold on and with new presenters. Pru Leith is too stuck up for me and I dont like the format with the new presenters. Pity.

I am looking forward to it, disappointed that Sandi has gone though.

I didnt think I would like the new format and presenters, but Pru is actually not stuck up at all, she has a wicked sense of humour and is lovely!

Am looking forward to this, not that I need to be eating cakes mind...

I thought I would not like it for the same reasons... but found it to be still like that comfortable pair of slippers, Pru Leith is quite down to earth on the show and very supportive of those who are trying hard especially in the early stages.

What I find a bit off is that the contestants are becoming more "advertiser's dream".

DD and I used to like watching everybody's Grans up against each other, but these things move on I guess...

Youre right, I dont think it has actually! Just the presenters, and Pru is very endearing, I also love Noel, but know he is not everyones cup of tea. Sandi and him were great together and I will miss her too. Worried Matt Lucas might take over eveything, even though he is very funny and talented.
